And the Winners are…

On Sunday November 6th, epMINIs (with sponsorship help from MINI of El Paso) held its first Game Rally Challenge!  13 teams competed in their MINIs for a chance at winning a pair of iPod Touch devices. Each team was given a packet with a map, challenging route directions, and 26 photos of images taken from the course.  The images were shuffled and the challenge was for each team to decipher the maniacally crafted directions and place the photos back into the proper order. In the end, two teams used patience, teamwork and perseverance to overcome the challenge and score a PERFECT worksheet!

 

1st place winners (tie):

Kimberly and Liliana Guerrero in a Red MINI

James Munoz and Ted Shelton in a Blue MINI

 

2nd Place winning team:

Abel Contreras and Lindsay McNeil in a Pepper White MINI

 

3rd Place winners (tie)

John and Jennifer Mursch in the Classic Mini

Ken Kenyon and Christina Rice in the Silver MINI

 

Each of the teams will be presented with their prize On Saturday November 12th at MINI of El Paso.  The presentation will be at 2:30 PM.   We invite everyone to drop by and congratulate the teams on their hard earned titles!

Sunday Nov. 6 Rally Agenda

If you are interested in playing the Rally Game Challenge on Sunday, be sure to submit your registration form ASAP! (The Facebook Event RSVP does not count as registration) We have about a dozen teams registered already and once the slots are gone, they’re gone!

Also note! The game is not required, if you just want to join in and cruise to the finish line, you are more than welcome to do so!  The cruisers will go in a group and the gamers will head out on their own.

We are asking everyone to meet by 8:30 am Sunday Morning at the MINI of El Paso Dealership.  6318 Montana

  • 8:30 am: Meet by this time
  • 8:45 am: Driver’s safety Briefing, Game Explanation and Rules review.
  • 9:15 am: Pre Registered Gamers receive their packets.  They can launch when ready
  • 9:15 am: Late Registration for those interested in the Rally Game Challenge. Launch When Ready.
  • 10:00 am: Group Cruise Departs the dealership.

The Gamers will play apart from the group to give them the room they need to safely play the game.  The group cruise will follow the same route the Gamers are using, only with a later departure time.

EP MINIs will be scoring the worksheets the week following the rally. We should have results posted online within a couple of days of the rally.

Prizes will be awarded on November 12th at MINI of El Paso.  Time TBD
